I avoided recording this piece until the end (2nd last, before Last Battle) only because it’s so long (~10min). Each individual section is not bad on its own. But recording the whole song took a few tries. I might’ve rushed to recording this too soon. This is my second day learning this. Messed up the fast section near the end. But this piece is so long. Having to do more than a few takes is really energy-draining.
After I recorded the complete Final Fantasy Piano Collections, I discovered the Final Fantasy “Piano Opera”. The “Piano Collections” appear to be so elementary compared to the “Piano Opera”. My next project is to record the complete Piano Opera. But this time I’ll take my time to make sure the pieces are more polished. I’m hoping to release one piece each week. Please stay tuned.
