“Sincerely” is a very “anime” piece of music. I wasn’t going to record this in the beginning because the piece is just too long. But luckily this was not too difficult. Once you get past the first 4 pages, you’re pretty much set. One minor regret is that the three16th note runs are not as clear as I wanted. These play fine on my grand. But on the N1X, due to the heavy key weight, I couldn’t make them as clear as I hoped. A technical limitation I guess. Also, I know the ending looks almost comical; I can’t reach 10th, and I didn’t want to skip notes, so I had to do some very strange-looking moves.
As with all of my performances, I have my own interpretation, so the tempo, dynamics, etc may feel quite different from the original recording. Simply put, I play the way I like it.
