This is one of the very few slower pieces that I’ve tried from Animenz. Definitely much easier than the regular stuff yet it feels quite sophisticated. So much so that I had doubt about the time signature being 4/4. The only difficult part is the first of the two scale runs in Section F, unless I got the fingering all wrong, it felt very awkward at first and took some time to get used to.
As with all of my performances, I have my own interpretation, so the tempo, dynamics, etc may feel quite different from the original recording. Simply put, I play the way I like it.
