To You, 2000 or 20000 Years from Now, from Attack on Titan, music by Hiroyuki Sawano, piano arranged by Animenz, played by Richard Yang on Yamaha N1X with Garritan CFX VST.
This is probably Animenz’s very last arrangement for Attack on Titan since the anime has finally ended. My head is still stuck on Hange’s Final Theme previously released, which is a lot more epic than this one. This piece might mean more for people who actually watched the show, which I did not. Overall it’s supposed to be one of the simpler ones. But the fast octave section near the end is an arm killer for small hands like mine. As a reference, this piece was recorded on Day 5. I know I haven’t polished and cleaned out the small mistakes; but this is piece is not something I want to spend more time on.
As with all of my performances, I have my own interpretation, so the tempo, dynamics, etc may feel quite different from the original recording. Simply put, I play the way I like it.
