Unlasting is a slow yet powerful piece. It starts out with an unhurried and steady pace. Soon after we’re met with some big bass/chord moments plus difficult tremolo sections. The most difficult part of the piece is to master straight time and triplet “without reference”.
As with all of my performances, I have my own interpretation, so the tempo, dynamics, etc may feel quite different from the original recording. Simply put, I play the way I like it.
