Before this I would say Brave Shine has the most difficult arpeggio from all of Animenz. This beats it hands down! The Brave Shine arpeggio is indeed very difficult to understand and learn. But once learned, execution isn’t too much of a problem. This AoT Main Theme arpeggio, the LH one, even though I know what I need to do, the execution is extremely difficult. I always thought my LH is as good as my RH, now I know that’s not the case. I used different fingering than that of Animenz. His fingering would’ve made it even more difficult for me. The four measures (about 7 seconds) of craziness for the LH pushed this high up on my difficulty list.
As with all of my performances, I have my own interpretation, so the tempo, dynamics, etc may feel quite different from the original recording. Simply put, I play the way I like it.
