The chorus of aLIEz is so satisfying to play. Plus, the guitar solo section (climax) is definitely one of the most epic-sounding passages from Animenz. However, this piece is deceptively difficult! The 3-hand technique in this piece is extremely confusing during execution. Then we have the non-legato LH and repeated-octaves sections that can really stress you out (when not done properly). Also, those who have played this will tell you that this piece can do serious harm your LH pinky! From all of Animenz, this one is most likely to cause injury. Play safe! Do not attempt without proper warm up.
As with all of my performances, I have my own interpretation, so the tempo, dynamics, etc may feel quite different from the original recording. Simply put, I play the way I like it.
