Another Animenz’s Top 10. I originally didn’t think this piece should make it because playing it slower doesn’t pose too much of an issue. However, the section with 6th’s, obviously the most difficult part of the piece, took me a LOT of trial and error to finally arrive at a fingering that works. Overall the piece took so long to bring it up to full speed. But once there, execution is no longer too bad. So the difficulty level considers the required time and effort to learn the piece. Muscle memory is key here!
As with all of my performances, I have my own interpretation, so the tempo, dynamics, etc may feel quite different from the original recording. Simply put, I play the way I like it.
