This is such an addictive piece with a heavy Tetris vibe to it. Although it’s not as difficult as it looks/sounds, this has the absolute fastest run I’ve ever done based on pure muscle memory. Learning the notes wasn’t too bad. Most of the time was spent on repetition and getting the runs up to speed.
This video is actually my Day 5 WIP for channel members. I kept practicing to improve. But in subsequent recording attempts I always made some small mistakes here and there. This take has the least number of mistakes. I didn’t think I could get a better take before my Friday release schedule, so this is it.
As with all of my performances, I have my own interpretation, so the tempo, dynamics, etc may feel quite different from the original recording. Simply put, I play the way I like it.
