Gurenge has one of the most epic choruses from Animenz. My first time listening to it I wondered if the piece is even doable. Turns out, it’s not nearly as difficult as it sounds. There are some elements that took some time to figure out. This plays and feels extremely like Crying for Rain by the way (but not remotely as difficult). I wanted to put this much lower on my difficulty list because of the relative ease of execution. But a lot of little things did take a lot of time for me to figure out. If I could teach my past self, I could’ve learned this much faster.
As with all of my performances, I have my own interpretation, so the tempo, dynamics, etc may feel quite different from the original recording. Simply put, I play the way I like it.
