My Time, from Omori, music by Bo En, piano arranged by Lattice, played by Richard Yang on Yamaha N1X with Garritan CFX VST. I normally only work on Animenz arrangements.
This one was requested by my daughter, from the game Omori that I don’t yet let her play due to age. So the least I can do is to cover the music that she likes. This almost brings me back to the days when I worked on Final Fantasy XII where the music just didn’t make sense. Having listened to the original, I can now appreciate this piano arrangement a bit more. It’s worth noting that if you think My War (Attack on Titan) or any other piece has lots of painful glissandos, this one beats them all hands down/ripped, especially because the Yamaha N1X’s plastic keys don’t support glissandos with palm.
As with all of my performances, I have my own interpretation, so the tempo, dynamics, etc may feel quite different from the original recording. Simply put, I play the way I like it.
