I had a hard time deciding whether this piece is easy or difficult. I learned it around the same time as Gurenge. Gurenge took a while to learn. Once there, execution is pretty repeatable. On the other hand, Zankyou Sanka, the notes are relatively easy to learn, but it actually felt harder to play “well” because of the awkward jumps. But ultimately it’s only 3 minutes long.
As with all of my performances, I have my own interpretation, so the tempo, dynamics, etc may feel quite different from the original recording. Simply put, I play the way I like it.
