Uchiage Hanabi, from Fireworks (2017), music by Kenshi Yonezu, piano arranged by Animenz, played by Richard Yang on Yamaha N1X with Garritan CFX VST.
Animenz placed this piece in his “extreme three-hand” playlist, which might be fitting. That particular section requires 10th that I don’t have, making it extra difficult. For the rest of the piece, I took a more literal approach (based on sheet music) on touch, etc, which makes it quite different than Animenz’s performance.
As with all of my performances, I have my own interpretation, so the tempo, dynamics, etc may feel quite different from the original recording. Simply put, I play the way I like it.
