In my attempt to finish Animenz’s 2-vol popular anime books, I started Connect and Crossing Field at around the same time. And the difficulty level turned out to be quite different, with Crossing Field being a lot more difficult (and probably more famous too). This one the notes are pretty straightforward except for one poly-rhythm section that took a bit to figure out.
As with all of my performances, I have my own interpretation, so the tempo, dynamics, etc may feel quite different from the original recording. Simply put, I play the way I like it.
