This is such a beautiful piece. Even the first 30 seconds of introduction places this piece in a different league. Animenz puts this in his “classically arranged” playlist, which I find interesting. I don’t particularly get any classical vibe from this. Regardless, Sakayume has one of the most satisfying climaxes.
As with all of my performances, I have my own interpretation, so the tempo, dynamics, etc may feel quite different from the original recording. Simply put, I play the way I like it.
