The Everlasting Guilty Crown piano arr. Animenz

The Everlasting Guilty Crown, from Guilty Crown, music by Ryo, piano arranged by Animenz, played by Richard Yang on Yamaha N1X with Garritan CFX VST.

This piece completes my Animenz Guilty Crown collection with exception of the 10th anniversary vesion of My Dearest. I covered the original, so I don’t think I would learn the new one. This piece features insane 3-hand sections, some of the more difficult arpeggios, and one of the best Finales. The 3-hand is “insane” due to the speed of execution. The most difficult 3-hand piece to play is still aLIEz in my opinion. The arpeggios took me a while to understand because I originally did NOT slow down enough to be able to really figure out what’s happening. This is a perfect example of why it’s so important to go SLOW when you learn a difficult passage!

As with all of my performances, I have my own interpretation, so the tempo, dynamics, etc may feel quite different from the original recording. Simply put, I play the way I like it.
