I regularly release my work-in-progress (WIP) videos to channel members. I was surprised to get many comments on this but not others. Turns out I really have no idea what do people listen to. I started this piece the same time as Connect as I wanted to complete Animenz’s 2-vol popular anime books. I was expecting roughly the same effort but evidently this one is quite a bit more difficult than Connect. Good news is, the difficulty is during the learning stage. Once you get it, it’s much more manageable.
As with all of my performances, I have my own interpretation, so the tempo, dynamics, etc may feel quite different from the original recording. Simply put, I play the way I like it.
